crownover christmas

tonight we had a very crownover christmas with nana and pawpaw, and they spoiled us silly! before they arrived, we put the finishing touches on our christmas decorations (note to self: decorate in october next year since law school consumes november!)

i LOVE sending and receiving christmas cards and have found that this is the BEST way to see them all. they eventually fill all of our kitchen cabinets each season! on the counter below, i love displaying emory's christmas footprint plates. last year was the christmas tree plate, and this year is the angel plate. :)

stockings :)
our nativity...including the bethlehem golden retriever ;) emory has REALLY loved "the baby" {jesus} this season. it's so sweet to see her come to us holding a christmas book or her picture bible and show us "the baby". she also knows his mommy, daddy, "dontey", and "feep". TOO cute!
nana and pawpaw always have the best time with emory! she had such a good laugh showing them her new elmo book from mrs. courtney.

emory and nana "oohed" and "aahed" over the christmas tree that mama gave her last weekend. it goes with her gingerbread house from last christmas. emory loves to watch it spin and sing...and now she says "no touch!"
em loved trying on nana's glasses!
and she was really "into" opening presents, too! santa needs to start wrapping ;)
nana and pawpaw liked their legacy journals. we can't wait to read them! {thanks for the idea, sara!}
emory loves her new elmo books and is already learning to push the musical buttons

AND....emory has a sweet new ride! she absolutely loves her new car and had such fun asking pawpaw to "push" her through the house!

checking out the gas cap

JOY!

joe and jenn, thank you so much for blessing us this christmas! we love you and are so grateful for you.
